Development & Welfare Association of the Blind (DWAB), DWAB provides education, meals, and accommodation to very poor blind kids. They run a school for blind kids which is free for all students, currently, they have 150 kids enrolled. We help a lot of poor kids, imagine if the same kids are visually impaired too. DWAB helps these poor kids by providing education to them to make their lives better. DWAB is located in Nalgonda District, they receive enough food donations to cover the meals but they receive less cash, they are in constant need of cash to cover the expenses of wages of teachers.
DWAB expenses are around 5 to 6 lakh rupees every month ,they are also in need of furniture and computers to school
Dhvani Volunteer Team in India met with the team at the blind school. Our Dhvani Volunteer Team arranged for six months of Food Supply to these kids.
